We do fiberglass repairs and refinishing. we also do special customer requests, such as strip and refinish, interiors, performance, and service.     • Jamison's was founded in 1969 by John Jamison. Since then we have expanded four times to have a 2,700 square foot showroom and 4,500 square foot work area.

    • No, all production Corvettes were made of fiberglass.

    • The first big block was in 1965. It was 396 cubic inches. 1966 was the first year for the 427 cubic inch engine.

  11. I'm looking at a Corvette to buy. How much is it worth?
    • Unfortunately, the value of a car cannot be determined accurately without a visual inspection at the minimum.

  12. Should I buy a Corvette project car?
    • I generally discourage buying a project car. You will usually spend more on a project car than buying one that has already been restored.

  13. Which exhaust system will give the best horsepower increase on my Corvette?
    • If you want more horsepower I recommend long tube headers. After market mufflers affect mostly sound and appearance.

  14. Which cold air intake is the best?
    • We prefer the Vararam air intake system. This system pulls fresh air from the grille area. This has a ram air effect.

  15. What modification gives the best increase in acceleration for the least expense?
    • A gear swap makes the biggest difference in acceleration. If you have a C5 automatic with a 2.72 axle ratio and swap to a 3.73 ratio you could reduce a 1/4-mile multiplied by as much as a full second.

  16. My Corvette overheats. How can I fix it?
    • Older Corvettes have a tendency to overheat. If your radiator is a brass/copper radiator then you should switch to an aluminum radiator. Aluminum radiators are much more efficient and will usually drop engine temperatures considerably.
